An Offer at the Broken Tusk

After two long days on the road, the Broken Tusk Inn was a welcome sight. The common room buzzed with low chatter and the smell of roasting meat. Before the party could settle in, a halfling named Pip slid uninvited into their booth.

"I've got the map, you've got the muscle. We split whatever we find — fifty-fifty."

Thorin gripped his greataxe warily, but Elara's curiosity won out — the "Sunken Vaults" weren't in any tome she'd studied. The debate was cut short by three goblins ambushing the party outside. Thorin ended the fight with a devastating critical hit on the leader.

On the goblin captain's body: a strange coin bearing a serpent devouring its own tail. Elara recognized the symbol — the Cult of the Scaled Eye, a group she'd thought was just a myth…

Key events: Met Pip, fought goblins, found serpent coin
Open threads: What is the Cult of the Scaled Eye? Can Pip be trusted? What's in the Sunken Vaults?

What makes Parcane different

The story-thread tracker no other campaign tool has

Recaps and wikis are table stakes. Parcane is the only campaign journal that follows your open threads — the unanswered questions, unresolved hooks, and promises your party made three sessions ago — across every session, so nothing quietly slips through the cracks between games.

Threads, not just summaries

Every open question and dangling hook is tracked from the session it appears until the session it's resolved — then surfaced for you in your next Session Prep.

Works with any system

D&D, Pathfinder, Daggerheart, indie games, homebrew — Parcane organizes the story, not the rules, so it fits any table.

No subscription, no waste

Start with free credits and room for your first 20 saved sessions. Add credits when you need more cloud recaps, transcription, or OCR.

How it works

Three steps, no account required to try.

1. Drop in your notes

Paste your notes, bullet points, shorthand — or upload a recording of your session. Whatever's easiest.

2. Organize what happened

Review the recap, campaign wiki, and open threads drawn from your table's notes. Your processing preference controls where notes are handled.

3. Share with your table

Copy the recap, paste it in Discord, or share a link. Everyone starts next session on the same page.

Your notes, your business

We use language models to organize notes, and disclose where processing happens. Parcane does not create your lore, NPCs, adventures, art, or story. Your data is never used to train AI models — not ours, and not our providers'. Cloud processing runs on paid API tiers (Google, OpenAI, Groq) that contractually prohibit training on your content. We do not sell your session data. Device Private blocks supported protected uploads. Cloud audio uses temporary processing files that are deleted after transcription.
